Welcome to The Wood Shack. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to The Wood Shack. By engaging with our services, whether through our website, direct sales, or other communication channels, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Introduction

We use reclaimed wood as much as possible to reduce waste, support the circular economy, and help protect the planet. Wood Shack is one of seven social enterprises operated by JERICHO to help people who face real and significant challenges in getting a job. As part of a charity, all income from the Wood Shack is reinvested to support this mission.

2. Account Registration

  1. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details.

  2. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts if fraudulent activity is suspected.

  3. Account registration is available through our website or direct communication, and upon validation, we create an account in our system.

3. Ordering and Payment

  1. All orders are subject to stock availability.

  2. We accept card payments, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.

  3. Orders require full payment before processing.

  4. You will receive an order confirmation email once payment is complete.

4. Pricing and Taxes

  1. Prices are listed in GBP and are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

  2. Prices may change due to market conditions, manufacturer costs, and operational costs. We update our prices as necessary.

5. Pick up

  1. Orders are available for pick up only from: The Wood Shack, Sutton Coldfield, Norris Way, B75 7BB.

  2. You will be notified by email when your order is ready for collection.

  3. Please bring proof of payment and your order confirmation when collecting.

6. Returns and Refunds

  1. You have the right to cancel an order within 14 days without giving any reasons.

  2. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire.

  3. As our products are made from reclaimed wood, natural variations in colour, grain, and texture are expected and are not considered faults.

  4. Custom-made or personalized products are exempt from the cancellation law.

  5. If you would like to request a return, please contact us, and we will be happy to assist you.

7. Security

The website uses advanced security measures, including SSL encryption, to protect user information from unauthorized access. All payment data is encrypted through SSL technology to prevent interception. By using the website, users agree to this Privacy and Security Policy.

8. Data Protection and Privacy

  2. We use customer data only for order processing, account management, and marketing (if opted in).
